Heading to Galveston next weekend of the 26th. Anything hitting up there on the jetty or the pier Or the surf?? Any report or suggestion would be much appreciated

I would google Galveston fishing pier and look for daily results or if on facebook look at Miss Nancy's bait camp provides great info on current catches...its around rollover pass but gives a shot at what is hitting just up from Galveston

If your trying to go to the pier you may want to leave early. Summer time beach traffic. Eats up the parking. I don't fish Galveston at all during the summer.

Book one of the partyboats, they are fairly cheap and you get to keep Red Snapper! $85.00 for 12 hours of fishing is not too bad!
