I finally fished it for the first time last weekend for a couple hours. I was pleasantly surprised to find fairly clear water despite the recent floods. Having never fished it before I was more interested in getting a feel for the layout. It doesn't have a ton of fishable bank especially since it's flooded however most of the bank looks really fishy! There is flooded weeds and grass around the entire pond and most of it is at least 2 feet deep. I caught 1 bass about 1.5lbs in said flooded grass under a tree a couple feet off the bank however it was the only bite I got. My guess is there are fish shallow in the newly flooded weeds and grass however presenting a bait and then being able to land the fish is going to be pretty challenging. This pond sets up nice for a small boat or Kayak. May visit it again when the water goes down a bit.

The river has gone through the golf course and into this pond a few times in the past month. Maybe stocking it some more.
