Crazy to have built all those apartments and dwellings on Denton Creek right below the golf course. Those little dab of sandbags ain't gonna hold all that water back. 27 feet high and rising.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

I lived close to Lake Grapevine back in the 80's, before every credit card captain with a ski boat ruined it. I believe it was 1982 when the lake flooded last and washed away the spillway. All you have to do is study a little lake history to know that only a fool would build a structure below that dam. It is called a flood plain for a reason, and those apartment owners/managers are about get quite an education.

Well at least the folks on the second and third floors should be fine.

if its already close to 30 ft above pool and another 12 in from Bill, that should take it close to the top of the Dam

LOL at the sandbags. That's the funniest thing I've seen all week.

It's over 27 feet high. 6 months ago, it was 12.5 feet low. This is insane.
