This was a great new adventure for my partner, John Smith and I. We went with two other groups from Louisiana and stayed at their Hacienda near Victoria, Mexico in a little town on the South end of Guerrero called Cassa. The drive was absolutely wonderful which was only 12 hours from Fort Worth. I am use to driving 2 days to get down to the West Coast lakes so this was a piece of cake.

The lake is only about 2 ft. low and catching water along with more rain coming from the storms rolling in. The big bass was really slow with the high pressure stalled out over South TX. and Mexico. But we were able to boat two around 7.5 lbs. and more small fish than we could all bring back in the coolers. The lake is one of the most beautiful that I have fished with point after point loaded with bushes. Steep drops and coves with crystal clear water produced most of our daily catches. We caught lots of bass on brush hogs, lizards, senkos and shallow running crank baits on the rocks.

I can't wait to get back down there on the next trip with those that would like to go. I want to thank the Louisiana boys Joe and Woody for having me come and look at the property for future trips.

Couple of Pics. of Joe and Woody's biggest Bass this year.

Thanks guys. The facilities was nice and it was the most fun trip I have taken; meeting new friend and sharing the fishing stories of a lake that I had never been to before was awesome. I hope both of you will want to go sometime.
