My trip got canceled due to bill !!
When the weather is better should I go to pins or high island area ?

Going to be camping in tent , an surf fishing an some btb kayak fishing

Closer to high island but is the few extra hours drive worth it to pins ??
Mostly looking for sharks

You can catch some big ones and different ones on PINS but you can catch good ones on High Island also. PINS is a little more rugged depending on where you go. It's all preference really. Wherever you go, I'd definitely give it some time to chill out and get the surf back to normal. Let things get cleaned up a little also.

Nah it shouldn't take that long. A few days of normal wind and tides will get it back ready to go. IMO sharks are more favorable to calm to semi calm conditions. I've just never had much luck when it's rough but I really try not to fish when it's too rough due to being a pain in a** for kayaking. It's just after these storms it has everything scattered out for the most part. A few days and it'll be back to normal.
