Got back Sunday morning and haven't had time to post. I spent last mon-thurs at the toilet bowl and various spots along the river. Had a great time and thanks for the advice Robert hunter! Pretty spot on for the most part and we really got into them. Lost a few monsters and landed some very respectable fish. All in all was a great trip during runoff. Here's a few pics. Even landed my 1st tiger trout there as well!

Beautiful area. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other rivers when they're not way up. Thanks again Robert, really gave us an edge on that stretch.

Congrats on the nice fish and your tiger. We are headed there at the end of July. Flows should be back to normal by then unless they get a lot of rain. Thanks for sharing the great pics.

Lol no problem looks like it worked out pretty good! bananahave a good friend I was just telling about the pan yesterday bet he listens good now. Did they actually finally stock tigers in there I know they were testing them out in several ponds along the pan or did they just come in from overflow from those ponds. Great fish.

I just looked yesterday y'all had really good flows at that time on the pan at least everything else was blown out. Mile marker 10 to the dam is some of the most fantastic fishing around.

Thanks yall. Robert I spoke with a guy at frying pan anglers and he confirmed they stocked some tigers there. Yes every other River we drove over looked like chocolate milk. Very thankful those conditions weren't present on the pan.

I knew they had them in several test ponds along the river and were contemplating putting some in there. Glad y'all had a good trip I know you want to go back sometime soon normally by first week of July the roaring fork is really good conditions. A lot of the small streams above the reservoir after the run off are also really good and fun to explore.
