They have discharged about a foot of water in the last 3 or 4 days and are continuing to do so right now. As of about 6 a.m. this morning, we were at exact full pool. We are about in a break even situation with the discharge coming from Bridgeport but Lake Worth is also letting a lot of water out right now. Unless we get a foot of rain, we may escape the levels we saw about 10 days ago. Just as the lake was clearing and the bigger fish were starting to bite, now we are going to muddy it up again.
Oh well, this a lot more preferred than what we had for the last 3 years or what is currently going on in Calif.
If and/or when any of you do get on EM, be especially aware of trash in the lake. I was fishing east of my place yesterday (Big Carter slough) and noticed several big logs and railroad ties that had lodged on the shoreline. With the amount of rain we are getting and the current it will create, this is going to cause many of these to float free and get into the boat lanes. Go slow and be safe.
