I recently had a chance to check out the Keith Combs Signature series (his big cranking rod) and it is awesome IMO. Its not on the market yet but when it hits I plan on buying a couple. I am currently using the Abu Garcia Vendetta (one MH and one H) and they work but compared to the Keith Comb Series they leave alot to desire IMO.

I use the Dobyns 806 for the 10XD and the 805cb RM for the 8XD's. 806

I've got a 7-11 Daiwa Ballistic that I've gotta be careful not to chunk em into the campgrounds and it's got a nice & forgiving parabolic top third. Loaded with 12# invizx on a 5.1:1 reel. Need to re-gear to 3.8:1 for better zone coverage...

I have been throwing 10xd on a Dobyns 805 CBRM since they came out with no issues great rod. +1 Great rod!

Is it too much for the 5xd and 6xd? I can throw the 6XD on it really well. I'm not sure about the 5XD. I'd imagine it'd be fine as well.

Take alook at the new Keith Combs Signature series by Power Tackle Keith has a rod made for the 10 XD and 8 XD It should be out in a few weeks. Power Tackle still has there XLC in the paragon series awesome rod for both
