Bargain is subjective. What are you willing to spend?

Academy has a good solid big crank rod I have thrown these on. I put it on a reel with heavy mono and no break and it casts the 10Xd a country mile!

I throw them on standard med-heavy or heavy rods. No issues here. I use all Kistler Mags now also. The cheap Academy rods will work great for money or even the Abu Garcia

I use the Dobyns 806 for the 10XD and the 805cb RM for the 8XD's.

Definitely the most affordable option that actually has the power and action to throw the 10XD.

This, the 10xd is too much for the 805cbrm but good for the 8xd and 6xd, you need a Dobyns 806 cb for the 10xd, if you want a cheaper option check out the mag heavy rod here

I just got the Cabela's tournament ZX Crankshaft rod 7'10" heavy. It's like a broom stick, and I paired it with a 5.5:1 reel. (Curado) I can throw that thing all day on a 10xd. The rod is $109, but I think I got it on sale for $80.
