So what if you have never treated your Yamaha with ring free or any other fuel added engine treatment. Is it too late to start? Does it remove build up that is already there? My motor may have 100 hrs.

You can do a shock treatment to clean her out then run it as preventative maintenance. Shock ratio should be on the bottle, probably double the standard ratio.
