If you had a week off and the wife was out of town, what three lakes would you fish this time of year within 150 miles east of Dallas? Would you go a little further to Toledo Bend?

I'm in the same position. Debating where to go this weekend. Lake O, Toledo, Sam Ray or ?? I'm thinking Toledo from what I'm reading. Good luck!

With a week off, I would hit Fork, Athens, and Toledo. Make the loop so as to fish them each twice. Your best luck will be at Athens--during the week.

The decision on where is a great problem to have! Haha. My wife is out of town working on a rent house, I have to work....and I'm between boats!!! Uuhhhgggggg.

I like the Fork, Athens, Toledo route especially since I have never been on Athens or Toledo.

Sounds pretty good to me. Maybe throw Pines in there.
