I have several Revo SX and STX models and I am having a problem with the drag...it will just stop working for no reason even though it is tightened all the way. I will have them in my rod box and the line will be lose so I will turn handle to tighten it and it will just spin. I have to take it out and keep re adjusting it until it finally starts to work again. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it and don't say buy a Lews!

You must have oil or grease on the drag washer's, they need to be dry and clean

I would have the reels cleaned and drag washers replaced.

Yep have you sent then out for service or greased them yourself recently? Sounds like too much grease in the reel and it's migrating on to the disks.

These are new reels that have not had the sides taken off and I am not the only one that I know that is having this issue with new reels. Unless the factory is putting grease on the disk. I gave them a call yesterday and they are suppose to call me back today with some advice. I will update after I hear from them...thanks
