I'm looking for the TFO casting rod for my Lews' BBI Pro reel I have ordered . I have search all over and seen many places that carry the TFO but not really finding the one I want . I want 7'-7'3" , I need it for pretty much all around bait casting top and deep level and some jerk lures , I like line between 10-25 lbs , and has small eyes (not the kind that has eyes' big enough for a nickel to pass through) . Also in the $100.00 or less range .
I went to my local Academy Sports and they have a lot of nice rods and a few Lews' rods which I considered . They have some Ugly Sticks too and I know some here use them but are they any good ?? I'm probably being too choicy But for once I'd like a nice rod . Academy also carries Tournament Choice and some real nice X2Os' rods that are very nice and very light weight . Too many choices and it's hard to just choose a rod online when I really like to get my hands on them first and see how they feel . Can anyone help or maybe give some good advice or even links to good rods in the under $100.00 range ??

KB1953 has a TFO 7'3" for sale in classifieds. I have two of this exact same rod and it is a pretty darn good all-around rod. I bought one from him actually and he is a stand up guy. good to do biz with.

However he prefers to meet face to face and he' in Dallas area and it maybe a long time before i ever get out that way again . But mainly i prefer CC or PayPal . They have a Cabelas newly built in Lubbock so going to make a trip up there this summer to check them out . For now i'll just stick with my Lews American Hero Speed Stick in 7' . AFter i make it to a nice lake for fishing i'll determine if i need to go another way in rods . Thanks tho for the info !!

Ron I have seen the tactical models here for $100, in 7-3, the signature series are going for $65+, get the tactical, I have both and like them very well. The warranty is the best on them, the best!

The 7'3" Medium Heavy Tactical Series is a great all around / all purpose rod. It is balanced enough that you could throw everything from a shakey head to a jig to a deep crank.
