I am going to fish Lake Arlington tomorrow and will be looking for sand bass and large mouth bass. Anyone had any luck?

There was a 27 lb sack at a tournament yesterday. They are biting.

Any idea where they were catching them at? I was going to start at the dam and work my way down the fort worth side.

Not too much time. The last couple of times i fished the dam, and then went into a couple of small coves. I fish out of a kayak, so it can be hard to cover a lot of distance.

don't launch at the discharge but fish shallower than you've ever thought.

I will probably launch at Richard simpson park, and paddle over towards fort worth side. I had decent luck the lats time i fished that area. Figured i would try to stay on the points, if the wind is not too bad.

My best luck lately has been on the East side very shallow since the water has risen. I haven't seen anyone fishing the dam the last several times that I have been out. I tried it for a little while but had no luck on it. On the West side, I have been driving up into the trees and fishing 1-2' of waterThey've been liking the watermellon baby brushhogs with the tails dipped in chartreuse for me.
