This creek has some huge gar in it but idk how to catch them and what bait to use. Any help would be appreciated.

If you have a cast net catch some shad,or if not catch sunfish to use as live bait .
Suspend it on a Quickstrike rig (google it) a foot or so beneath a large popping cork.
When the gar takes it, let it swim until it stops, then set the hook hard!
You'll miss more than you get, but worth it!
