Is there a place to tent camp on Richland Chambers lake? I looked around the internet a little and all I saw was rv and motel sites. Thanks in advance.

Thinking about taking my first trip to Richland chambers next weekend. Was wondering if anyone has any tips on fishing this lake. I just have a little inflatable boat and we will be staying in the marina campgrounds. Like most We didn't do too well on the sandbass run run in North Texas earlier this year so it would be nice to catch some on this lake. Thanks in advance for any tips.

Fisherman's Point is the way to go. Protected from south winds, nice camping areas, good ramp, swimming area, great resturant, and good fishing close by. Check out Gone Fishing Guide Service too. I thnk Royce has a good fishing/cabin combo deal available.

Fisherman's Point marina is where we are going to camp. Guide service will have to wait, my oldest is starting college in the fall so money is a little tight. Any tips on how to load the boat with whites?

Telling it like it is and that is the White Bass fishing has been tough the latter part of this week. We're making a 10 mile trip up the Richland Creek Arm to find our fish. The Main Lake bite that had been great most all the Spring has disappeared as a thermocline has set in. Live Bait fishermen are still catching some Hybrids but even that has been tough many days from the reports I get.
Not trying to send a bad message but an inflatable boat probably won't get you to where you need to go for the White Bass. I'd recommend Catfishing in the shallow coves around the Marina with some Danny Kings Punch Bait.
Good Luck!
