My parents just bought a pontoon. You better believe I'm gonna take it out a few times for some night time action.

I still use the old floating headlight. I tried some of the cheaper LED drop lights but didn't care for them. The floating lights draw in bait fish good just don't hook it up to your motor battery. I carry a spare battery just for the light. But to answer your question, yes, night fishing is a blast and a whole lot cooler.

A lot of the locals night fish so plan your trip so that you have a few back up places in case there is people there. A little later on some nights a lot of folks out.

I've done a lot of night fishing, mainly in the late summer/fall the bite is good.i have 70's Coleman lantern that works really with a piece of foil on the back so it doesn't blind ya.

Yes sir love to night fish. It's cooler, the lake is usually much quieter and calm, and the fishing is good. We use several different lights. Good Luck !
