It mounts on a track style system. All you need is the mounting bracket - BRACKET

The bracket mounts on any flat surface, and then the pole slides into the bracket and tightens down. Once mounted, you can swivel the pole, as well as the actual camera mount to get pretty much any angle you want. I've used multiple pole systems on my kayaks, and this is by far the best. I had a foot surgery that's made kayaking too difficult right now, otherwise I'd be keeping it.
