I've got some airline credits to use between now and January.
What month would be best for big bite on El Salto?

Sure did good last year in December at Pro Bass Adventures. Numbers and size as well.

My buddy went in June and had 5 fish over 10 in one day on deep diving cranks. Big 3 went 11, 12.5 and 13.2!!

Dec or Jan based on the time frame of your question. Fishing is about the same both months; however, the crowds are a lot less in December.
