My dad recently passed so me and my brother have decided to spend 3 days at Ivie doing what my dad loved the most, fishing. We will be fishing from belly boats and I was wondering what area you would suggest we fish? I was thinking around Elm Creek. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Not sure how the fishing is but there is a lot of hardwoods over by Concho Park you could get to,don't know how close you can drive to it but it's not too far from the boat ramps. You could flip all day and never hit the same tree.Be sure you stay with Jerry @ Elm Creek!

Main lake points, deep cranks in the channels. Otherwise just tell Jerry what you are doing and he will help you out.

There has been a deep bite the last two weeks. 25+ FOW C rigs or heavy jigs. BIL caught a few good ones last weekend on a 1oz mag shaky head from Swift custom (http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/10840518/1) fish were in 30 FOW on channel bends, hanging out on the edges of wood.
