going for Sunday thru Tuesday and don't know anything about the lake any tips where to fish for whites.

from mesquite to greenville 40 min. greenville to sulphur springs 30 min . sulphur springs to sulphur river 40 min.[go hwy 30 north pass greenville.and kept going hwy 30 to east before sulphur springs .you will hit bus67 and take north to 19 north .about 20 min you will see the park sign on your left .go pass the dam and make a u-turn to park. the place fishing is called sulphur river. details can check google maps. good luck and safe trip. fish

The points from the dam to the South Sulphur State park are good. The one just east of the beach area is good late afternoons. I haven't been out there lately but I've always caught fish there.
