heading there for a weekend later in July and was wondering if there were any spots to go gigging that you could get to without a boat

Rollover pass is where I would recommend. Be careful out there when the tides are moving, but there is plenty of sandbars and structure to walk on the bay side. Check it out on Google Earth to get an idea of what I'm talking about. As always, watch out for stingrays.

thanks for the input i kinda figured that would be the place im just not all that familiar with that area and as for the rays i always wear ray guards not that they protect anything above my ankle but a little peace of mind
