If I was going there with them I sure would consider an 'offshore' 12 hr trip instead of a bay trip, you would really be glad you did this.

We run Semi-private jetty trips and another option. www.justcastcharters.com

A few years back I went with a group of about 15 on a Galveston charter boat trip. It was a huge waste of time and money. Maybe it was just that particular charter but I would never do it again.

Just wondering what a group of 15 would cost on a "charter boat". Is this one of the $25.00 to $30.00 per person trips? Or a trip for just you and your group?

Sorry, I don't remember the cost. It was booked for the group only but that wasn't the case when all was said and done. Most of the day was spent with the captain traversing the water to kill time while the crew spent their time entertaining their girlfriends on the rear deck. There were a lot of angry customers that day.

I'm sure there are plenty of good charter trips but this wasn't one of them.
