I never realized it was $365.00/mo for a slip at GV. Is that typical to what other lakes charge?

Anybody done the shuttle thing? Curious as to how that's working out.

I used it Tuesday, it was easy, and nice to get to see the lake with all that water. The only down side was that it was so hot, I was ready to go almost as soon as I got to my skip, but had to wait two hours. I caught about six dinks and a couple bass.

I might try it this weekend. My main concern is exactly what you said, get there and be ready to leave. It is a nice service for them to offer. Not sure I'm interested in pulling the boat out in the mess yet. Did the debris still look bad?

All 3 marinas on grapevine are owned by the same company. I am sure ethat doesn't help prices.

I got an email earlier, the road to Scott's will be open tomorrow, Friday. I don't know about Twin Coves. I didn't see any debris, but I only went from Silver Lake to Scott's.

My guess is they are going to let the Elm Fork come all thebwaybout of flood stage and just let out what they can and stay within the normal banks. Plus Lewisville will get emptied first.

Yup, Lewisville and Ray Roberts are going to be emptied first. Grapevine can hold a lot of water and will thus be used for what it was designed for (Flood Control). Grapevine is going to be full for most if not all of the summer the way it looks.

I'd be telling you a story if I said I hadn't thought the same thing.

I doubt Twin cove will be open anytime soon. A week ago today the water was up to the guard shack at Murrell Park. And the lake hasn't gone down to much since then

I did notice on the pictures from the news it looks like they finally removed the floating port-a-potty from the lake and put it on dry ground. That was not a pretty visual. We all know it but actually seeing it.............. sick
