I fished Booyah jigs Saturday and I couldn't believe how many times I got hung up. I have been fishing them for sometime. I need to switch brands. I was so mad.
Thanks,
The weak call it obsession, the strong call it dedication! Jigfish

Yep. They have a nice skirt, nice trailer keeper, and a decent hook. But, the shape is HORRIBLE for fishing anything called structure or cover. Weeds? No way.

If your concerned about hang ups with a jig try Mesu raptor jig. It has a free hanging trokar hook. You can texas rig it so you don't have to have an exposed hook. Great for heavy cover. http://www.mesubait.com/jigs.html

I remember J. Christie cursing the jig he had tied on for getting hung a lot during our day on Ross Barnett. I couldn't confirm it was a Booyah, but they're one of his sponsors.
