I personally have not, but fished with a guy who used a mini swimbait as the weight out on fork. Cant remember if he caught a fish on the swimbait or not

I've done it several times....about a foot apart!

I've caught fish at each level! 50/50... No favorite height so far!

Shaky head as the weight, yes, I like that around deep rock/gravel.

I have rigged 3 hooks before, but the more plastics you have hanging off the line, the less sensitive and more cumbersome everything feels. Don't have an underwater camera, but it feels like the action is compromised some the more hooks/plastics you have tied on.

+1 on the shaky head for the weight on the bottom of the drop shot rig. I get hit on both the drop shot lure and the shaky head, with maybe slightly more hits on the shaky head.

At a rate of one Roboworm per bite, haha, that would get expensive quick. I catch around 4 out of 5. So that would be 10 worms for 4 bass. Lol.

I will often use weighted JigRigs with a Craw Bait . It was half running out of tackle for regular dropshot and half seeing a craw under my Senko that gave me the idea. I've caught a ton of fish with the setup on both top and bottom and figure it covers 2 types of baits in case they aren't biting one or the other.

I will T-rig a worm or sometimes use a shakey head for the bottom bait and it works very well. I've posted this set up before and was informed that it was against the rules in some bass tournaments to use multiple hooks. I don't tourney fish so it makes no difference to me but it's a great set-up especially for this time of year. I generally catch maybe 4 bass on the drop shot for every 1 on the bottom bait. Good luck and good fishin.

Try a Carolina-Texas-drop shot. Lol. Run all three at once on an Alabama rod. Lol.
