Im guessing it was out of the water so long it didnt swim away....just a guess exactly my thought as I watched. I get the excitement, but dang, they put it down on the dock a couple of times, and it sat there for what appears to be a while, weighed it, took a pic of weighing it and then more video showing it. But as I sd, excitement had to be off the charts, but I'd be surprised if the fish survived.

There was a lapse in the video. The kid was handling the bass better than some do. Maybe they gave her a soak or two.

Yeah because that's an accurate scale lol. Not saying it isnt a big fish because it is but that scale looks like it's been dragged around that dock a time or 20 lol nice catch regardless and on spinning gear as well!

if you walk the levees on the cali delta during the spawn you'll see many teenage females. catching them is another topic. not sure where this fish came from but its a good one. congrats to the angler for sure.
