twincoves is still closed... its all underwater right now - grapevine is still ~25 high. I paddled over this weekend on saturday & sunday and you don't even recognize it. That said its a blast to kayak right now and the sandbass & catfish are everywhere! fish

Bass are a bit harder to find.

Best launch point right now is North Trail Head in Murrell <<click for google maps

North trail head has a parking lot and the water is right up to the gate (where normally you'd have to walk like half a mile to get to the water from there).

Twin coves they have blocked off right at the road (so no parking nearby) and murrell park i think they have stopped people from parking at the entrance (but you can check) - if they are letting people park outside murrell its probably a giant mud pit ready to swallow your wheels scared
