as some of you may know I crappie fish at Benbrook pretty much only at Benbrook. but 15ft over the normal level has caused me to want to go somewhere else. I have never fished at cedar creek but it seems like a good place to try. I have heard that around the docks is a good place to try. could someone give me just a little a direction concerning the docks. or maybe I should fish around the dam or near a bridge. how about a place to spend the night? as you can see I don't have any information about the area. can anyone help? thanks.

When they talk about docks they are referring to shooting a 1/16 oz jig up under the docks in the darkest parts. And letting it fall watching the line for a visible jump or or pull. Bridge pilings are abundant on the lake.

Yes, crappie are being caught well on brush piles, bridges, and docks right now. History says those patterns will probably fall off quite a bit by later in the summer, but maybe you'll have Benbrook back by then. People seem to be catching fish in lots of different areas of the lake right now.
