Going to be picking up some live croaker in hopes of targeting some trout in the morning near aransas. Anyone else going to be out there?

Has anyone fished the surf in te mornings we will be going down there in a couple of weeks and just wanting to know if anything is being caught constantly..

Well, I caught a dink red, and nothing else wanted to bite the fingerling live croaker I was throwing out there under a popping cork. At least I didn't get skunked.
