2#er Club!Bryley and his girlfriend stopped by yesterday afternoon and got some baits before hitting the lake. We have been attempting to get a date set to fish together, as he wanted to learn how to fish with jigs, just hadn't got it set up yet. I gave him a quick dry run on how I fish light jigs this time of year. Couple of hours later I get a text, "You got some scales, I just caught my personal best" I could hear the excitement in his text, so I told him to come by after they got thru.   CONGRATS!!!

Yeah, im for sure hooked on this jig fishing thing now. Cant thank Todd enough for his hospitality and willingness to teach a newbie a couple tricks. Cant wait to get back out there! feels good to catch a crappie on something other than a minner

Thanks guys! He definitely knows his crappie! Got a better picture before I cleaned it. Here she is next to an 11. Can't help but think that if she was in spawn I might have beaten the record. But still thrilled I was blessed with that trophie!!
