Gotta work the boat this weekend to fix oil leak, if I get it done I want to go test it out at either bastop or fayette on Sunday. I haven't seen many bastrop reports... Whats yalls opinion? Also I don't have any electronics on it so I'm stuck with visible structure or something easy to find with a map.
Thanks

Fayette didn't excite me much last weekend, and there were 50 million boats on it. Could hardly find a place to fish....

Bite on Fayette gets deeper this time of year. Plenty of shallow fish to be caught on Bastrop.

It seems like the pressure on on Fayette had dropped off quite a bit by this point last year because of the summer heat. This year though the water is so high on other lakes folks are still swarming it.
