Been using Vicious for several years. Last couple of spools have had what I am assuming are splices which are rather frustrating since they are always in the worst point of spooling where you have to start over and waist all that line.

Just looking for some brand recommendations. Not sure I want to pay for Sunline just yet and the trilene 100% doesn't come in spools other than 200yd or 2000yd on tacklewarehouse. Thinking about trying Seaguar AbrazX.

Thanks for the tips.

I have been using InvisX for the last few years and really like it. It is a little pricey though.

Bass pro 100% fluoro. I spent a lot of money on the less expensive stuff only to come to the realization that if I'm going to use fluoro I might as well pay for the good stuff.

I use IZOR leader Fluorocarbon Line. It is meant to be used as a leader and I think it is great stuff!

(you're going to get about 1000 different opinions on this)

InvisX is the best all-purpose fluorocarbon I have used. AbrasX is a bit stiffer, but also a bit more abrasion resistant (go figure).

I used Vicious for a little while, then switched to BPS floro and now, I have been using Seguar Red in the bulk spools 800-1000' lines. I have been happy with Seguar Red.

I like the 1000 yd spools of Invizx and wait until Tackle Warehouse runs a 20% or better sale. Comes in at about $80 and I go through it in a year. Had a 2000 spool of Berkley 100% and took to long to use it up.

best value, even at around $18-20 a spool.
