ok. i'll try it. looking at youtube videos to try to refresh my memory of what mullet look like. are there other baitfish i might catch there so I can try to identify them. the fishing guide book is not very helpful when it comes to identifying saltwater fish.

Cast net is prtty much the only way you are going to get live mullet. You may catch piggy perch, hardhead cats, as well as game fish so watch out. I would go out early to cast net for mullet because they are pretty fast when the water warms up. Try throwing to the north of the convention center.
