Hey y'all,

I hope you're well. I'm vacationing on Lake Travis in Lago Vista. Where could I launch on the lake that a) is near Lago Vista and b) would put me on some water that wouldn't be inundated with party boats and b) would give me a chance to do some productive fishing? I've never been on this lake and thought I'd check in for a starting point before I rush in blind.

I have added incentive on variable A because my wife has been begging me since we got out her to get the yaks on the water. smile

There's a marina at lago vista with a lot of boat slips I'm sure you can put in there. The docks in that cove are good for a wacky rig. Up from there the next creek is really good too, it shouldn't be a long paddle from the marina. I haven't went since the rise but you should be protected by the boat slips and if you hug the bank shouldn't have any trouble making it up to the next creek. Good luck
