Pines water level is still very high. The crappie seem to be scattered out pretty good. You can catch some off timber along the channel, but you will have to cover a lot of water. We caught some nice crappie under the Alley Creek bridge this past Sunday. Brush piles in 20 to 25 feet of water are holding some as well. I think the crappie fishing on Pines will be much better once the water level gets back down to normal pool. Good luck.

I found some a few days ago in brush in 24 fow and holding about 12 ft. down. Caught a few under the bridge at Johnson Creek but when the sun gets up you'll have to hurry if you want a spot. Electric Chicken seem to be the color pattern they wanted but you know that can change from day to day. The wife caught a few on minnows too. Like Tommie said, the lake is up so watch for floaters while going across the lake. Other than that, I thought it was in pretty good shape. Good fishin to ya!
