Has anyone ever fished this pond, it backs up to the Trinity river, off of Hebron, Huffiness and Hudspeth, and has a Spill way gate so it looks like water could come in and out. The Canal behind it looks good, but there are No Vehicle signs. Does not say you can not fish, or walk, just no parking. I want to fish the canal but am not ready for a ticket. while leaving this area today, I saw a Cop stopped behind a Suburban, that was Parked on the grass, where Trinity and Hebron cross. I was thinking about that this weekend, but not now. I saw many good swirls in the Canal, behind this pond, but not sure what is legal. thanks for any help..

I'm not sure about the canal that runs behind the pond but I stopped by this pond last week and fished for bass for about 45 mins without even a bite. I parked in front of the houses on Hudspeth and don't recall seeing a no parking sign anywhere along that road.

I tried the pond couple of times, no dice. There is a no entrance sign for motorized vehicles behind the alley that has an opening, I am sure Ninja fishing is happening because of all the tire tracks. The pond looks promising but the one time I tried did not even get a bite

If it's legal ain't no way in hell it's catch and release, it's CATCH & GREASE, except ROUGH (TRASH) Fish

I've parked along Hudspeth and walked back over the levee behind the pond and fished the river. Caught a few drums but that was it. Fished that pond a few times and nothing. The no motor vehicle sign to so people don't drive or park on the levee but, from the looks of all the tire tracks on the other side of the levee plenty of people have ignored the sign. Have fun and good luck.
