If you are not interested in the tournaments that BLT are offering or willing to pony up the money to fish them, then give it a rest. They have already defended their decisions way more than the have too. Fish the trails that fit your needs and don't fish the others. I for one will continue to fish the BLT trails and will fish the summer solo when it kicks off.

End of rant, carry on

If I have the time, I'll fish some of the solo events or help out with them. Hopefully not on Sundays as that is the day I usually have to travel to somewhere in the world... a lot now days!

$125-$175.00 seems right, but limited divisions. I like some of the ideas presented, but ultimately it is a management decision based upon sponsorship funding.

I'm in for the Pines/Sandlin division. Both lakes should draw and good turnout.

Very high on this concept.. Good to go on the higher entry fee options and will fish Roberts Texoma division.

We have worked out some dates and sponsor prizes for the Solo Championship.

We should be able to announce dates, divisions, lakes and payout later this week.

four divisions. NE SE NW SW.
for example
NE: pines,fork, combo with SE on Tawakoni
SE: cedar creek, chambers, combo with NE on Tawakoni

and u could do the same thing for the NW SW 2 tournys and then a combo

then championship with all four on ray hubbard Just an example

Here is our plan.

* North Division- 1 on Texoma - 2 on Ray Roberts
* Northeast Division - 2 on Pines - 1 on Sandlin
* East Division- 2 on Tawakoni - 1 on Cedar Creek
* Rayburn Division - 3 on Rayburn
* Fork Division - 3 on Fork

* Championship on neutral lake in November.

* $170 entry fee for division tournaments
* $200 championship entry fee
* $35 membership fee for those anglers who are not already a member. Existing USAFT members will not need a new membership.
* $4,000 in Gander Mountain gift cards will be awarded as a bonus to top 3 championship finishers. 1st = $2000 - 2nd = $1200 - 3rd = $800
* 2 Power Poles ($1600 value each) will be awarded as a bonus in the championship. One to 1st and 2nd place.
* 80% payback on a 1 per 5 entry basis in all tournaments.
* Trailering allowed in all division tournaments and the championship will be flighted starts.

More information will be posted on our website this week.

We are looking forward to providing a quality solo program for anglers who have asked us to do this.

See you at the lake,
USAFT staff

Looks good TBT. So payout for Championship would be 80% of entrance payments as well additional to bonuses? I just hope you guys don't place Championship in Toledo or some other lake 4 plus hours away for us guys here in DFW.

Should have a good turnout.

Borntofish1,
That is correct. 1st = $2000 GM gift cards + $1600 Power Pole + payout of entry fees based on # of entries.

The championship location will be announced on September 1 and it will be in a central location that is not on any of the division schedules.

Anglers must enter all 3 tournaments in one solo division to be eligible for the championship or enter any 4 tournaments in any summer solo division.

See you at the lake.
