If you haven't checked your boat and truck since the flood, you could be in a load of trouble. We have seen a lot of damage at work with chewed wires from mice and rats. I also found my life jacket with a chew mark. These repairs can be very expensive and frustrating just trying to locate. If you don't check now you will pay a lot later.

Wish I'd have read this two weeks ago... $400 bill for wire/harness replacement from rodent damage!

Put decon in your storage area and change it out twice a year. I put it out in the fall and the spring. In the fall when my boat sits more than any other time, I'll put a couple in the battery compartment area as well.

Be careful buying used trucks for several years now. People with water damage will be looking to unload them. Sucks big time but what can you do right.

$3,500 damage to wiring on my F250 about a month ago. Thank God State Farm covers rodent damage.Many insurance companies don't

I have a guy that comes out and treats every quarter but the suggestion to put Decon in the boat is a good one...Thanks.

and put moth balls in a glass jar under the tarp to keep squirrels out too! Squirrels are worse than mice about chewing wires!
