Just moved to Texas not long ago and kids love to fish I just can't find a spot to hook them up with one . Would like to do some night fishing to stay out of the sun and get some good fishing in with the kids around Arlington any info would be greatly appreciated thanks .

ya looked at that and not sure what parks are open at night to take the kids summer vacation and dont have to sit out in the 95 degree heat

The gates at Bowman Springs close at 10pm. Richard Simpson doesn't have gates but I think it technically closes at 11pm. Even though I have been flamed before for saying it...don't go to the Fort Worth side park at night...it isn't safe. In the day I have never seen anything suspicious. Arlington parks are always safe.

Bowman Springs definitely has more bank fishing area...a lot of people fish off of Richard Simpson docks but during the summer there is a lot of boat traffic too in and out.

Some people fish over near a cementary near the northwest portion of the dam...but I wouldn't do that at night.
