Buy yourself some Loose Leaf tea! Get the Lipton tea. It has recipes on the side.

Get a 2 quart pitcher. Add 1 1/2 quarts of water. Bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat. Add 1 rounded tablespoon of loose leaf black Lipton brand tea. Let seep for at least 5 minutes. Leave longer for flavor but no longer then 12 minutes as the tea will be at max saturation.

Filter the tea in a fine mesh colander or a cheese cloth. You don't want the leaves in your tea but some sediments will percolate because the tea is healthier for you.

Pour into a giant cup of ice and drink.

Don't add any sugar or additives such as lemon, lime, peach, strawberry, etc. to the batch. If you do it will change colors and taste different as the tea molecules combine with whatever you add.

Pour out 8 ounces (1 cup), add a lime (or whatever flavoring you want), and sweeten it. I usually do 4 to 8 table spoons. (I like it sweet especially with the lime!)
Add 1/2 tablespoon of sugar at a time.

I usually do 8 oz or 1 cup at a time. I put into a 24 ounce cup full of ice then add a water to taste/top it off.

A cup a sugar in a pot of water. Bring to boil til sugar dissolves. Add 5-6 family size teabags. Cover and remove from heat and let steep for awhile. Pour into pitcher and add water.
