Looks like it swam out of lake Belton to the pond. I guess it could of if they could open the gates. They were doing some work on the dam and they are waiting for the concrete to cure before they open it up. Its up 14.52ft and still rising. Up 1ft in last 96hrs. Hopefully it cures soon so they can open it up. Current Elevation: 608.52 Normal Elevation: 594.00 Currently Releasing: 27 cfs

That thing was probably on your hook for 3 or 4 casts and you just didn't notice it..

Did you lip that monster or play it safe with the net? That beast was so huge, I had the break out the net. Good job with the catch and release. Now someone else will enjoy catching it...
