So the other day I swung a 10" LMB and snapped my 734c. I've read the warranty info and by the time I buy a packing tube for the rod and ship it back I'd dang near be at the same cost as a "no questions asked replacement from a dealer".

If the rod is broke in half it shouldn't cost more than ten dollars to ship it. Try calling Dobyns.

I'll give them a call. It broke at the tip, about 6" down. Clean break.

you can cut off the handle and the rest of the rod.....all they need is the 6 inch piece showing the rod model ect

This you can mail it in a bubble wrapped envelope for a few bucks thats what I do.
