That would be OK I guess if you don't have to tote it around very much, and if you never have a catfish hit the end rods at a wide angle, and if you have level ground to set up on,and you have plenty of truck space to haul it in...I would suggest taking a sawzall to it,cut out 4 one ft pieces of the pipe, attach each one to a two ft. piece of 3/8" rebar, and end up with 4 individual holders that can be spread out a few ft. apart and pushed down into the mud. Then pack em all into a lawn chair bag for carrying .

UncleJed, it is a 2 piece setup...the top crossbar and 2 down legs detach from the bottom part.

I use 4 ft pieces of rebar and 2 ft pieces of inch and a half PVC. Just duct tape them together and it's good to go! Yours does look pretty nice too. I just like being able to spread mine out if is necessary. But, you can always just cast in different directions and accomplish that.

Thanks,
Olen

I use the ones Academy sells for ten bucks each. Holds 3 poles and pushes by foot into mud or clay. has individual pole holder half loops.
Butt of poles on ground. made of metal. Light, easy to transport.

Started out with nothing and still have most of it left.

For the rich there is therapy; for the rest of us there is fishing.

Just one more cast!

I'm thinking if you catch fish on the two outside rods your good if the two inside rods get bit you have a mess on your hands
