Are any of the boat ramps open on either of these lakes yet?

Lewisville: Passing on info from conversations I've read in other parts of the forum. The lake was supposedly re-opened to boat traffic - per news report on television. However, the ramps remain closed. Essentially, if you have a boat at one of the marina's you're allowed to be on the water. Unfortunately, the water remains high and the road into the park & ramp I use is completely covered in water. I'm speaking of Tower Bay. With TB being that high, I expect others are in the same condition.
No clue of Ray Roberts. Last picture I viewed showed water over 377 at Buck Creek.
Hopefully others will chime in with info to help you or to add corrections.

Thanks for the info. I still can't believe the water was over 377. That's a lot of water!!!! Plus imagine all the stumps just below the water line now....

They've dropped it a foot and a half in the last few days. Why won't it be open sooner than mid july. Seems like if rains don't get bad they could drop it 4-6 feet in a few weeks.

they could if it was the only lake but there are numerous lakes much worse off. they concentrated on reopening 377 last week. since no house are at risk, getting it open is probably low priority.

My wife crossed Buck Creek twice today. She said it was to the road but the picture looked about 2-3' from the road. Roberts is 9' and change above pool so its come down some which is good. Looking forward to getting back out there.

Seems like if rains don't get bad they could drop it 4-6 feet in a few weeks. cause lewisville is also 9-10 feet above pool. They can't release that much cause they waiting for the trinity to go down then they can, trinity down here Dallas area is still out of its banks.

Some of the houses which are lakeside & flooded on Lewisville are within a couple of minutes of my house. Stopped by to see if the level had dropped. An entire row of homes is flooded which are dotted along the bank. Noticed either a boat pulling a skier or a jet skier playing around in front of these flooded homes, pushing a wake in the direction of the homes and it sort of made me mad to see the lack of consideration for property owners who are in distress already. The roads were half-submerged in water and and half of the road was completely deteriorated from the floods.

Well because there is much more involved than just the lake coming down. There will be extensive road and ramp repairs for one. Docks will have to be placed and repairs can't start until the ramps and roads are completely dry. Hope for sometime in August or at least Labor Day and that's with no more heavy rains.
