How is the ramp (open)? Water pretty muddy? I've never fished it so looking for some general advice (you can pm your super secret brushpile coordinates).

Not 100% sure, but I don't think Lake Arlington has flood gates. It has a morning glory shaped "hole" close to the dam that let's water out as the lake fills up. Once the water level goes above the rim of the Morning Glory it exits the lake into Village Creek. Grenedaslabs would you care to elaborate; minnows or jigs, boat houses or brushpiles?

Went out about 8AM and came back in @ 12:30. Brush piles two yellow bass, boat houses nothing but perch pecks. All jigs. Maybe next time some minnows. Or maybe I need some of that slabslobber? I hit most boat houses on the north east side and around Bowman Springs east side. Brush piles in 22ft and 15ft. 16ft blue Sprint bass type boat. Had been having starting issues; put new fuel line from tank to motor and primer bulb. Started great this morning. Very happy about that. Great to see the lake full. Hope it can stay that way for a while.
Put the plug in.

Me and my brother in law went out this morning for some sand bass. We caught close to 30, but only two were keepers. Also caught 2 keeper crappie in the same spot and 4 20-25" channel cats on jug lines. It seems the bite went cold at 10:00am. Didn't catch a fish after that.
