Look at the current AOY standings. 4 out of the Top 5 are west coast guys and probably half of the Top 15 if not more are. Showing how versatile they are for sure.

those guys know how to adapt their style and make it work-good at clear water and lighter line- and bed fishing -as well as deep stuff!

It always starts that way. It usually evens out by the end of the season. I think it has more to do with the schedule.

I have high hopes for Ehrler. He's currently #9. It would be sweet to see a Bassmaster rookie get AOY. I'm rooting for him. California may be the land of fruits and nuts, but they've definitely produced some great fishermen.

Gary Klein came out here from Cali and won rookie of the year his very first year to fish BASS.

Those guys from the Left Coast can catch fish that are higly pressured as all get out. I think thats why they do so well.
