If I wanted to simply T-Rig the Zoom UltraVibe Craw, what style and size of hook would you recommend be used?
TY in advance.

2/0 Gama EWG with a 5/16 tungsten screw lock. It will dive/penetrate better when the weight is secured to the bait. If just t rigged it has a tendency to land with bait on one side of grass and weigh on the other. The screw locked presentation can slip into and out of THICK stuff really easily.

2/0 or 3/0 EWG hook. Weight depends on depth you are fishing.

yall are crazy... way small
A 4/0 owner cutting tip ewg fits it perfect, promise. It fills the WHOLE bait except for the legs. one of my most used combos.

Times change and tackle/rigging improves.....
Flipped all through the 90's with screw lock Gambler weights and offset Owner hooks.
No more.
Bobber stopper lets the bait slide down the hookset, opening up the gap for better penetration. I used to use pieces of jig skirt pulled in the weight to accomplish this until the someone showed me the bobber stop method of pegging a weight.
For close in work, flipping/pitching, almost every accomplished fisherman I know of, now uses a snelled, straight shank flipping hook with a bait keeper. Owner Jungle, Trokar TK130, Strike King Hackney, pick your poison. It may not happen on every flip, but the elbow on an offset hoof will snag brush or grass. You'll notice you do alot less shaking on the way down to get it to fall naturally with this setup. And with a snelled hook, the hook pops out and up. Unicorns em through the top of the mouth almost every time.
So... Zoom Ultravibe gets a 5/0 Owner Jungle and a 1/8th - 1/2 ounce tungsten pegged with a 6th Sense Peg X stopper.
I now use the same rig whether casting or flipping. That way I don't have to switch rods when I move up- from casting TRig to grass lines to flipping bushes.
