good meeting you too! Well we got there at about 7 am went to find bait by bass pro and finally found some around 8 am by bay view but it was perch. I was good with that because they are tough and I elected not to bring the super bait tank so I knew shad would be hard to keep alive. We found some small fish near the Power plant, went to the humps by the dam and marked some fish and bait about 28ft down but no bites on the Perch just a few on slabs at the top of the water column burning it. Managed to catch one under hybrid 13 inches near Rush creek marina at the south point. We saw sporadic bait jumping but no schooling. Marked good fish by Peanut hump and they were not hungry either. Totaled ten fish with 1 Under Hybrid, 7 Sandies, 1 baby whisker fish and 1 goo. I did not see too much catching going on anywhere so I as not too bummed but I am still learning the lake anyway. Saw big long marks that looked like bait every now and then and good fish marks here and there but my I think my slabs kept calling my graph a liar lol. They would get down there and they would not find any friends!

Seems like the moon was out till at least 11 am and there was not much a breeze. I wanted to go to twok but I wanted to sleep in too lol and of course it was on again lol. I still think that hubbard has potential I know yall get into some good fish there, I just need to find some spots and a pattern if there is one yet... I am off next Thursday and Friday. Wanting to go to Tawakoni or Cedar Creek maybe.. But might just try Hubbard on a weekday. The recreational boaters were not out quite yet but when I was leaving today they were showing up.

Ben the lake will settle down now that the rain has stopped. When Lavon quits releasing water into Hubbard the fish will get on a pattern. Right now the influx of new water has them scattered.
