I got a chance to get dad out for some camping and fishing this week.
He can still get it done at 80.

Good Times, Make-N Memories

Very Cool! My dad is also 80 and still loves to fish but is unable to get in and out of boats (or stay in them for any length of time) so a crappie dock or a very well planned out bank fishing trip is all he gets to do now. Congrats and I wish you and your father many more outings like this!

passinthru, my dads days are in low numbers as for getting in and out of the kayak, will try and extend our days on the water as long as I can going with friends with boats or toons. Made a lot of great memories
in the outdoors over the years.

Like father. Like son. Now I know where your big bass talent came from.

As long as he wants to go just help make it easy for him. I'll bet you he'd rather fish from that kayak than those toons or boats.

Just one more cast!

Great fish and good times, love to see older folks and kids fishing!
